Educational Qualification:
- Applicants should pass a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/ Production/ Manufacturing, etc.) & Experience with Aerospace Manufacturing, Fabrication, Assembly Processes, and Technologies or equivalent from a recognized board.
Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in the Aerospace domain
Responsibilities:
- Represent the Boeing Company at suppliers to ensure that supplier manufacturing instructions, processes, and products meet engineering requirements
- May perform onsite program responsibilities in support of The Boeing Supplier Quality requirements
- Leads assessments of complex suppliers’ manufacturing and quality planning documents and products.
- Documents and reports assessment results to relevant stakeholders
- Provides education and coaching on manufacturing processes and quality systems to suppliers on their manufacturing and quality planning
- Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier productivity on planning documents.
- Provides interpretation of complex requirements while reviewing the documentation along with suppliers
- Leads various reviews to ensure manufacturing and quality attributes are incorporated
- Provide technical expertise to company employees and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual and company requirements
- Provide mentoring to fellow colleagues in their skill development and team development
- May perform onsite program responsibilities in support of The Boeing Supplier Quality requirements
- Shall have a proven track record of technical issue resolution, yield improvement, root cause analysis, etc
- Detailed knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing, inspection, APQP, machining, special processes, tooling, and assembly is essential.
- Able to adapt approaches to meet the needs of different groups in different cultures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to communicate with all stakeholders including supplier quality representatives and all levels of supplier personnel.
- Ability to establish good personal relationships and outstanding team-building skills in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Understanding Statistical Process Capability, Process automation, IoT / Digital manufacturing techniques, etc. would be added advantage
- Form collaborative partnerships with suppliers and Supplier Quality Management to develop risk, issue, and opportunity plans.
- Support duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
