Qualification:

(i) AC Refrigeration Mechanic:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning”from a recognized Board.

(ii) Carpenter:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning” from a recognized Board.

(iii) Chipper Grinder:

  • Applicants should pass a NAC in any trade and have worked in the Shipbuilding industry as a Chipper Grinder for a minimum period of one year and may apply for the said post directly from a recognized Board.

(iv) Composite Welder:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship from a recognized Board.

(v) Compressor Attendant:

  • Applicants should passa NAC in Millwright Mechanic or Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance and worked in MDL/ Shipbuilding Industry as a Compressor Attendant for a minimum of one year and may apply for the post of Compressor Attendant from a recognized Board.

(vi) Diesel Cum Motor Mechanic:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate
  • Examination in “Diesel Mechanic/Motor 4 Sr. Trade Grade Essential Qualifications & Experience (ID-V) Vehicle Mechanic/ Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic (Marine Diesel)” from a recognized Board.

(vii) Driver:

  • Applicants should pass an SSC or the equivalent from a recognized Board.

(viii) Electric Crane Operators:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “ Electric Crane Operator ”from a recognized Board.

(ix) Electrician:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Electrician” from a recognized Board.

(x) Electronic Mechanic:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “ “Electronic Mechanic” from a recognized Board.

(xi) Fitter:

  • Applicants should passa National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Fitter” from a recognized Board.

(xii) Gas Cutter:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Structural Fitter / Fabricator/ Composite Welder” from a recognized Board.

(xiii) Hindi Translator:

  • Applicants should pass a Post Graduate from a recognized Board.

(xiv) Junior Draughtsman (Electrical):

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Mechanical Stream”from a recognized Board.

(xv) Junior Draughtsman (Civil):

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Civil Stream” from a recognized Board.

(xvi) Junior Draughtsman (Mechanical):

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Electrical Engineering” from a recognized Board.

(xvii) Junior Quality Control Inspector (Mechanical):

  • Applicants should pass a Diploma in Mechanical/ Shipbuilding/ Marine Engineering Examination conducted from a recognized Board.

(xviii) Junior Quality Control Inspector (NDT):

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Marine Engineering” from a recognized Board.

(xix) Millwright Mechanic:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Millwright Mechanic / Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance” from a recognized Board.

(xx) Painter:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Painter/ Marine Painter” from a recognized Board.

(xxi) Paramedics:

  • Applicants should pass a B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized Board.

(xxii) Pipe Fitter:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Pipe Fitter” from a recognized Board.

(xiii) Planner Estimator (Electrical / Electronics):

  • Applicants should pass a Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering in Examination from a recognized Board.

(xxiv) Planner Estimator (Mechanical) Group- B:

  • Applicants should pass a Diploma Mechanical / Marine Engineering in Examination from a recognized Board.

(xxv) Planner Estimator (Civil):

  • Applicants should pass a Diploma Civil Engineering in Examination from a recognized Board.

(xxvi) Rigger:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Rigger” from a recognized Board.

(xxvii) Store Keeper:

  • Applicants should pass a Diploma Mechanical / Marine Engineering in Examination from a recognized Board.

(xxviii) Structural Fabricator:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “ Structural Fitter / Fabricator” from a recognized Board.

(xxix) Utility Hand (Skilled):

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Fitter” from a recognized Board.

(xxx) Fire Fighters:

  • Applicants should pass a National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Cutting & Tailoring/Cutting & Sewing” from a recognized Board.

  • Applicants should pass an SSC from a recognized Board.

(xxxiii) Utility Hand (Semi-Skilled):

(xxxv) Master Ist Class:
