Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for the administration of Production and non-Production ServiceNow instances
- Responsible for design, documenting, testing, and modification of ServiceNow code.
- Works to identify risks & issues following appropriate escalation procedures.
- Responsible for engaging with ServiceNow support engineers and third-party development team to troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues
- Responsible for being a part of the on-call ServiceNow team.
- Independently provides proactive problem management in order to deliver high service levels. May follow up on root cause analysis and resolution of problems.
- Provides detailed implementation/project plans across multiple, complex work streams according to ServiceNow standards and ensures project processes and timelines are understood and followed within the Platform Engineering team.
- Provides assistance for the reduction in volume and mean time to recover incidents within the ServiceNow environment by providing high-level, independent troubleshooting on technical issues.
- Produces, delivers, and maintains appropriate ServiceNow documentation for systems in accordance with document control standards and procedures.
- Stays abreast of recent developments in the ServiceNow community, including new technology and business news that may impact vendors’ ability to provide service. #LI-GA1
