Educational Qualification:
- Applicants should pass a Degree in a relevant discipline with a related field of work experience or equivalent from a recognized board.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 5+ years of experience in leading a team of expert automation engineer
- Establishing and evolving formal Test automation practices, test processes, methodology, standards, and hygiene for agile development efforts
- Leading and mentoring Test automation team members across a global team
- Leading a Test automation strategy, test design /plan, test automation, and drive test execution for application services initiatives.
- Building and executing automated test scripts with automation tools like Selenium/Webdriver, FitNesse, Appium, and other similar tools
- Defect tracking and test case management using software systems like Jira
- Scripting with Perl, Shell Scripting, Python
- End-to-end automation testing through Selenium or equivalent tools
- End-to-end functional testing through Cucumber, or equivalent tools
- API testing through tools such as SOAPUI, Postman
- UI/UX testing through Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Protractor
- Designing automated test scripts that are reusable
- Ensuring that all automated testing-related activities are carried out as per the standards defined by the company
- ISEB / ISTQB certified candidate with demonstrable professional testing experience with automation
Responsibilities:
- Leads the efforts of a team of over 10 Unisys associates or contractors. This is not a direct reporting relationship, but leading a project or solution team of developers, testers, engineers or support associates to meet critical deliverables. May act as a SCRUM Master
- Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of enterprise systems, networks, or application software, as well as desktop applications
- Provides technical advice and consultation on complex, critical issues and escalations
- Defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications and modifies and maintains complex existing applications. • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains software applications
- Analyzes requirements and may maintain, test, and integrate application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
- May assist with the evaluation of new and existing software products.
- Learned project management techniques by acting as a team leader on small projects or portions of larger projects
- Develops client support plans for major projects
- Develops further depth and expertise in delivery management and may continue on the delivery management path or go on to deepen technical skills in architecture or highly specialized subject matter expertise
